Max Kahn has participated in numerous one-man and group exhibitions in Chicago and around the world. He is a distinguished artist who has received several awards from national institutions and museums. His works are in the collections of over 30 museums including the Art Institute of Chicago, Boston Museum of Art, Illinois State Museum, Library of Congress, Museum of Modern Art and Metropolitan Museum in New York, Philadelphia Museum, National Gallery of Canada, and National Gallery and Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C..
